About Me

As a practitioner, facilitator and educator, I love blending science and spirit, to share practical information and tools with my clients to help them, heal themselves. My personal mission is to use my skills to empower others to navigate their own challenges and life experiences in their own unique way with confidence.

My love of herbs began while working on a realtives herb farm when I was 10 years old. Spending my summers picking Rosemary, Sage, Thyme, and other potent aromatic plants. I studied bioregional agriculture on my path to earning a bachelors of Science degree in Geography from Portland State University, and attended Birthingway College of Midwifery to receive my credentials as a Certified Biodynamic Childbirth Educator. For several years I was the staff clinical herbalist and formulator, a Postpartum Doula, and Certified Childbirth Educator for Alma Midwifery in Portland, OR. I feel very proud to have served and supported hundreds of clients in those capacities in my time there.

My passion for herbs, birth and natural healing, led me to further increase my knowledge and skill set by delving into clinical herbalism. After 15 years of independent herbal study, I finally enrolled in a two-year program in clinical herbalism and received my certificate in Advanced Professional Herbalism from Portland Community College in 2014; studying with nationally renowned herbalist K.P. Khalsa.

My professional practice is informed by Ayurveda, Western and Chinese energetic principles and constitutional analysis. My specialties include: sexological herbalism, herbal allies for healing trauma, providing clinical herbal consulting services to midwifery practices in the Portland/Vancouver area, seeing clients with a wide range of health challenges and goals, custom formulations, and teaching classes in many subjects within the realm of herbalism. I am a past President of the Oregon chapter of the American Herbalists Guild, and teach in private settings, group classes and conferences.

Throughout my life I have had the opportunity to learn from many talented healers, herbalists, psychics, teachers and mentors in a wide array of subjects. I enjoy taking classes, continuing education and attending conferences and trainings related to health, personal development, healing, goal setting, and manifestation whenever possible.

I enjoy sharing my passions of intuitive processing, divination, tarot/oracle card reading, plant magic,  mindfulness, handcrafts, and energetic healing skills (often combining them with my clinical herbalism skills, with my clients. And would much rather share techniques and resources that will empower them on their journey and enhance their own skills and personal groth, rather than having someone rely on me as their primary resource.

I see my primary role as that of an educator, and enjoy teaching classes on a variety of subjects, and sharing easily applicable skills with my clients brings me a tremendous amount of joy. Assisting my clients in reclaiming their own sense of wellness, healing from trauma, finding pleasure and joy in life, and focusing their minds on positive goals and outcomes on their own unique life paths, makes it an honor and a pleasure to do what I do.

In my spare time I teach mindfullness techniques, handcrafts, and wild-crafting to children at my sons' school, cook for those that I love, play sports, and tend my herb garden. I live on a small farm on the outskirts of Portland, and am passionate about being the best mother I can be to my three young children, Max, Craig, and Ruby, rescuing animals, nurturing and deepening my relationship with plants and the natural world, and creating positive change in the health of my local community and beyond.
